BCL: HALF DAY NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
This unique wildlife sanctuary is just 8 km out of Nairobi's city centre.
Over 50 species of mammals can be found here, including four of the BIG FIVE. It also includes a visit to the Animal Orphanage.
BCL B: KAREN BLIXEN / GIRAFFE CENTRE
Visit the Karen Blixen Museum at the foothills of Ngong Hills, a home of Isak Dinesen of "Out of Africa" fame.
This is followed by a visit the to Giraffe Manor, home of Daisy, the famous Rothschild giraffe who starred in the film "The Last Giraffe". Return to your hotel thereafter.
BCL 1 : 2 DAYS AMBOSELI
DAY 1: NAIROBI - AMBOSELI
A night stop in the Park enables a more leisurely encounter with the magnificent array of wildlife than is possible on the one day safari. The tour leaves in the morning reaching Amboseli National Park in time for lunch.
An afternoon game-drive in the area of the permanent swamps will reveal much game.. Large and small eminently photogenic in these splendid surroundings. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in or near the Park.
DAY 2: AMBOSELI - NAIROBI
06.30 hrs: Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the Lodge for breakfast.
10.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for a further game drive and panoramic view of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch leave Amboseli for Nairobi.

BCL 2: 1½ DAYS TREE HOTEL
There are three 'tree hotels' in the vicinity of Nyeri about 160 km North of Nairobi. Treetops and the Ark are in the forests of the Aberdare mountains and Mountain Lodge is on the slopes of Mt. Kenya.
DAY 1: Nairobi - Tree Hotel
The drive passes the small industrial town of Thika surrounded by extensive pineapple plantations. After crossing the Tana River, source of some of Kenya's hydro power, the landscape changes and becomes more lush as you climb into the rich farmlands of the Kikuyu people. Lunch is taken at the Outspan Hotel in Nyeri, in the case of visitors to Treetops and Mountain Lodge and at the Aberdare Country Club in the case of the ark. In the afternoon proceed to your tree hotel where the night is spent, and where a procession of forest animals visits the floodlit water holes and saltlicks. Elephant, rhino, buffalo, giant forest hog, hyena and many other species are commonly seen.
DAY 2: TREE HOTEL - NAIROBI
In the morning descend to your base hotel before returning to Nairobi around lunch time.

BCL 3: 2½ DAYS AMBOSELI AND TSAVO NATIONAL PARKS
DAY 1: NAIROBI - AMBOSELI
The drive across Masai country is enlivened by the sight of these proud warriors and by wildlife scattered across the plains, often in close proximity to domestic stock. Amboseli National Park is reached in time for lunch and a rest before an afternoon game drive enables you to explore this wonderland set so picturesquely at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight in a lodge in the Park.
DAY 2: AMBOSELI / TSAVO
Before breakfast a final game drive can be taken in Amboseli when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds. After breakfast drive to Tsavo National Park crossing a dramatic lava flow at the Park boundary. Lunch is followed by a game drive in this, Kenya's largest Park, noted especially for its enormous elephant population. Also visit Mzima Springs an oasis where hippo and crocodile can usually be seen. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in the Park.
DAY 3: TSAVO - NAIROBI
After breakfast return to Nairobi via the main highway from Mombasa reaching Nairobi at around lunch time.

Passing through the dramatic landscape of the Great Rift Valley and the plains inhabited by Masai Pastoralists, the Masai Mara National Reserve is reached in time for lunch. In the afternoon a game drive to search out lion for which the Reserve is so famous. Dinner and overnight in a lodge.
DAY 2: MASAI MARA
An extensive morning game drive is followed by a lazy restful afternoon by the pool side or another game drive. This part of the Northern Serengeti is where the great wildebeests migration is resident and it will be possible to see herds of these animals covering much of the Reserve. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
DAY 3: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI
Breakfast at the lodge before returning to Nairobi around lunch time.

The night is spent at either a lodge in Lake Nakuru Park or at a hotel on Lake Naivasha.

After breakfast return, via the Great Rift Valley, to Nairobi arriving around lunch time.

08.00 hrs: Depart in the morning for Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the Lodge.
16.00 hrs: After lunch proceed for a game drive in search of the elusive leopard, lion, elephant, gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
DAY 2: SAMBURU
06.30 hrs: Proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to the Lodge for breakfast.
10.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for a further game drive, returning back for lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon at leisure.

Continue to Lake Nakuru for lunch, and in the after visit the Lake Nakuru National park, where the sight of flamingoes will never be forgotten. Dinner and Overnight in a lodge in the park or Naivasha.
DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA
After breakfast depart for Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive during which it would be possible to locate the huge black-maned lions, for which the reserve is famous. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

DAY 2: AMBOSELI - TSAVO WEST
After an early morning game drive leave Amboseli for Tsavo West National Park. The route follows the base of the Chyulu Hills and crosses a great lava flow which evidences Mount Kilimanjaro's volcanic past. Lunch and an afternoon game drive in the Park. A visit is made to the Mzima Springs where from an underwater observation tank it is possible to see submerged hippo walking the floor of the springs. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in or near the Park.
DAY 3: TSAVO WEST - NAIVASHA
After breakfast leave for Lake Naivasha taking lunch en route in Nairobi. In the afternoon reach Lake Naivasha which lies among extinct Volcanoes on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The Lake is a birdwatcher's paradise. Dinner and overnight at a lakeside hotel.
DAY 4: NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA
Drive across the Masai plains to reach the renowned Masai Mara in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the bewildering herds and the numerous predators which have made the Reserve so famous. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
DAY 5: MASAI MARA
A full day game viewing when it should be possible to see all the Big Five as well as a variety of lesser known species. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
DAY 6: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI
After breakfast depart from Masai Mara Game Reserve and re-cross the Rift Valley to reach Nairobi around lunch time.
