Meet Big Tim: The Beloved Wonder
The Amboseli National Park was home to 50-year old Big Tim, until his final bow on February 4, 2020.
Big Tim a.k.a Big Tusker was one of the last big “tusker” elephants in southern Kenya’s wilderness, according to KWS (Kenya Wildlife Service).
Meet Big Tim: The Survivor
Big Tim was a wonder-in the-Kenyan wildlife scene. Living in the wild Big Tim had quite the life – surviving harsh weather, predators, drought seasons and poaching attacks.
In earlier years, poachers injured Big Tim. However, thanks to the KWS and partners – Big Tim got the help needed and was back home at Amboseli, in no time.
