6 Days Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Special

0830 hrs: Leave Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley for Masai Mara Game Reserve, picnic lunch en route. On arrival, proceed for a game drive in search of black maned lion, elephants, leopard and cheetah, buffalo and other plains games. Dinner and overnight at Private Camp.

0630 hrs: Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast.

1030 hrs: After breakfast proceed for a further game drive. Lunch at the camp
(After lunch Masai Village visit. Included in the price).

1530 hrs: Afternoon Game Drive, thereafter return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

0500 hrs: Early morning transfer for Balloon Launch. After a brief pilot will inflate the balloon and when it is safe to do so and the balloon is upright, your adventure has really begun. The sharp-eyed will spot animals and game trails quickly. What never fails to amaze is the natural camouflage African wildlife has. Gently gliding with the wind over the plains of the Masai Mara, the silence, beauty and magnitude is breath taking. After a 1hour glide over the vast mara plains.

On landing group crew will prepare a bush breakfast with an open bar. Return to camp for siesta and late lunch.

1530 hrs: Afternoon Game Drive, thereafter return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

08.00 hrs: After breakfast proceed on a FULL DAY game drive. Drive along the Mara river in search of signs of the wildebeest and Zebra Crossing. Thereafter proceed to the Hippo Pool from picnic lunch. Here you can come out of the vehicle and sit on the rocks and view hippos and crocodiles in the river. You can also go for a short walk with a warden. Dinner and overnight at the Safari Lodge.

0800 hrs: After breakfast leave Masai Mara through the Park, picnic lunch en-route for Nairobi arriving around 16.00 hrs.

06.30 hrs: Game drive, breakfast at the lodge.

10.00 hrs: Game drive. Lunch at the lodge.

15.30 hrs: Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at lodge

Common wildlife spotting in Samburu include, the Gerenuk ( Impala Giraffe) , Grevy zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somalian Ostrich and Reticulated Giraffe, lions, buffalos, elephants leopard, Cheetah, both Striped Hyena and Spotted Hyena. Samburu is also home to some of the largest crocodiles found in Kenya. Occasionally park permitting, game drives can also be done in Shaba and Buffalo Springs National Park
